As Managing Director of FSC Investment Services limited I could see that to survive well in the future we would have to materially change the way in which we would conduct our business. The problem was which way should we go.
As luck would have it we were introduced to business guru Steve Champion and with his support we slowly began to realise that we were not alone and that someone out there had not only got a route forward, but it could be a very profitable arrangement.
We are now a much changed outfit, we are in the process of moving all our segmented client bank onto a fee paying basis (formerly we were almost 100% up front commissions) we can now see our fee income rising quickly and it wont be long before we are earning as much on fee’s as we were on commissions – with a lot less hassle and we have added untold value to our business.
As the major driving force in the company it is very stressful making major decisions which can affect the future of your company and the livelihood of all your staff. I am pleased to report that thanks to the help and guidance of Steve we have found the transition not only painless but also extremely rewarding.
