As part of the Business Health Check exercise a business valuation can be provided. This would be a high  level  estimate  of  the  current  value  of  your business and  would  outline  the  key  parameters  which  impact  the  value  of  the  business. At  this  stage  it  is  important  to  explain  that  capital  value  only  exists  if  there  is  a  demand  for  the  business.   Equally,  this  value  only  increases  if  there  is  a  higher  demand  than  there  is  a  supply  for  this  type  of  business.
The methodology used has  been  developed  over  a  period  of  time  and  is  based  on  figures   from  all  recent  acquisitions,  investments  and  trade  sales.  These  precedents  are  useful  for  identifying  the   most  important  financial  parameters  and  attributes  within  a  business  and  reflect  the  demand  and  weighting  for   each.
A business valuation can be provided independently but we strongly recommend that it is produced as part of the Business Health Check exercise given the far greater level of detail obtained.
