Business coach Steve Champion has assembled a team of eight specialists within his new company Inspired Consultancy Services to help advisers with everything from marketing to mergers.
Champion, who worked at Pivotal Consulting for five years before deciding to start his own business, is helping advisers to move away from a transactional model and grow the value in their business. He believes that his hands-on approach to consulting fills a gap in the market.
‘Lots of consultants provide the tools but they expect the adviser to take them away and implement them and advisers don’t have the time or access to resources to enable them to do that,’ he said. ‘We make sure that we roll our sleeves up and help them put the processes in place, ensuring implementation is successful”.
Inspired Consultancy Services will offer a business health-check to identify shortfalls in a Business and implement practical steps to strengthen the client experience, service offering and profitability. Advisers will also be able to make use of the expert consultant panel that Champion has put together.
‘I found that other consultants had limitations, such as not being able to help with marketing or ongoing review. We identified where advisers would need help and I work along with eight specialist consultants to offer the adviser everything they could need,’ Champion said.
Inspired Consultancy Services will also work within mergers and acquisitions, matchmaking firms that are interested in expanding or selling.
